The visit included a comprehensive overview of the research and biotechnology landscape at UMN and in Minnesota and a deeper dive into the collaborative potential between the UK and Minnesota in these cutting-edge fields.
The UK delegates toured the BRC for a firsthand look at the University of Minnesota’s advanced biomanufacturing capabilities. The visit culminated in a leadership roundtable, where participants compared and contrasted each region's vision, priority areas, current ecosystems, challenges, and potential synergies, fostering a dialogue on future collaboration and partnership opportunities for UMN’s biotech initiatives including MnBA and BTI.
